The Worms-on-Wheels digester is an easy to use system for recycling larger volumes of organic waste on-site. The Wooden Worm Digester provides an ideal environment for soil friendly microorganisms & bacteria to soften food for compost worms. The worms turn organic waste to worm castings. The worm castings are collected in the base tray.
To use: 1: 5 parts soil or potting mix.
Liquid worm tea drains into a tank.
To use: 1 – 5 parts water.
The worm tea can be used on most plants and trees or sold as a concentrated soil & plant nutrient. Can make 15 + litres per week.
Worms used are Tiger and Blue worms.

Worms consume up to their body weight in organic waste per day.
This digester can maintain around 40,000 compost worms.


1x1 metre system accepts approx 45 litres food waste per week.
Flow through system. Waste fed on top.

Bread, pastry, meat, citrus, onions,
compostable nappies, bags (cut up),
spicy foods, crushed egg & sea shells.
AVOID
Large bones, plastic, play dough, fat,
wooden drink stirring sticks,
oil, branches, foil, cans, etc.
